DOWNLOADS: Supplies - scrapbook supplies were supplied by weekly freebies
at www. digitalscrapbookplace.com - you will have to resize the files accordingly. Rose files I made myself in PI.
You can download the file HERE.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open new canvas 500Wx600H color - #BB0000 or your desired color. (You can always resize later, I like lots of room) Go to your layer manager and right click, duplicate this layer. Go to adjust, resize, selected object, and resize by 90%. Right click, align, center both, keep selected, use your fill bucket tool and fill this layer with the lighter color, in my case, #D1DCA7 and add texture if desired. I used Fantastic Machines, preset brush strokes. Right click, shadow, first box, change x-offset and y-offset to 6 and 3. Deselect.
- Open the vgroseoutline that I supplied for you, or use a stamp or brush of your own choosing and place several around the card as shown, duplicating and using transform tool to rotate them a little.
- Open the tag supplies, the red one, resize to about 70%, making sure apply to is on selected object, and place so one of your roses is in center of tag. Deselect.
- Open the vgrose supplied, duplicate, and place three in different places on your tag as shown on the final picture, using transform tool to rotate.
- Open the tiny white tag now, resize accordingly, duplicate and place on card towards the top as shown. I filled mine with the lighter color then clicked on paintbrush, size 2, color red, went to Effect and Paint on Edges to apply a thin red outline around the tag. Deselect.
- Choose any nice font, color of your choice, size around 24, depending on your font, 2d mode, and type your phrase. Use your transform tool to rotate to fit the tag. Right click, shadow, I used first box and offsets at 3 and 2. At this point you can right click and select all objects and merge as single object. Almost done!
- Using your Line and Arrow Tool, color red, or your choice, outline size 2, 3d round - shape - freehand - draw a line from the tag upwards as shown. Deselect, then draw a second line to overlap with the first. I used the eraser to erase part of the cord to look like the tag is upon it. Select both your cords, right click and merge as single object, then right click, shadow, offsets 5 and 3. Deselect.
- Open the red eyelet file supplied, resize, duplicate and move over to your card and place on the cords, again using your eraser to erase part of the brad. Right click, merge all. Resize if desired.
