PI VERSION: X3 (suitable for other versions)
LEVEL: Intermediate
MAIN TOOLS: Path Drawing Tool, Line & Arrow Tool, Easy Palette, Transform Tool, Editing Tool

DOWNLOADS: None.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Open new canvas 500Wx500H.

  2. Path Drawing Tool - 3d round - elipse shape - yellow color - draw a shape on your canvas approx 140 x 154.

  3. Now the face is just different shapes from the Path Drawing Tool. Use your choice, using an orange color and yellow color. When you have all your pieces made, and placed on the face where you want them, right click and select all objects and merge as a single object. I then added a shadow of settings 2 and 1 on the top 2 lines.

  4. Now the fun part begins! LOL You will need to use the editing tool for the rays of sun and the orange color. Path Drawing Tool - 3d chisel - custom shape S47 or S48 whichever you want to use. Draw out several different lengths and go up to the Edit Path Object and play around with the shape until you get different curves and such. No one is alike and even I can't reproduce exactly any one the same. Make about 7 different rays, making each a little different in length and shape. Place around the right side of the sun. Right click on sun and choose align, bring to front so the rays are behind the sun.

  5. Okay! Now we are going to work on the left side. For this you will need the orange color and you are going to use the Line & Arrow Tool - 3d round - width 2. Draw out different squiggly lines, about 5 like shown in the example, and place around the left side of the sun. Send each of them to the back. You can select all and right click merge as single object if desired. I also added the same shadow as above.

  6. Now all you need to do is grab your Path Drawing Tool again, color yellow - 3d round - shape - star, and make several different size stars and place on your squiggly lines. Right click and select all objects, merge as single object. Right click and add shadow if desired and you have a beautiful sun wall plaque!
