INSTRUCTIONS:
- This will be a fun and easy tut as you can use so many different fills and patterns to create many different variations. Have fun!
- Open new white canvas 700Wx600H. You can resize later. I like a lot of space to work with!
- Use your Outline Tool, width of 3 or 4, depending on your likes, 3d round - and draw out a rectangle of about 424 x 335. Right click and align - center both.
Then I used the Material Attribute - Metallic - Copper 4 and applied. Use whatever you like.
- I then used the Line & Arrow Tool - same width as you used on the center, 3d round - same metallic preset and basically drew lines around the frame vertically
where I wanted them to be. Feel free to experiment. Just make sure your lines are completely to the bottom and completely to the top meeting the center frame as you will be using the
magic wand to select these different squares. If you go over the edges, just select, arrange and send to back.
- Now grab your magic wand and click inside the large center square. Select your picture you want, edit and copy, back to your working image and paste into selection. Deselect.
- Now using your magic wand again, select each of the boxes and fill with your desired textures, fills, etc. Let your imagination run wild with your "nature" collage!
Most I got from PI's own Easy Palette. Others are background tiles I have which you need to go up to Edit, Fill, Image tab and browse to where you have your image.
- When you are done filling now you can add stamps if you want. I added some leaves and a butterfly! Have fun creating!
- If you want to add some sort of text at this point, you can make this creation into a lovely greeting card. My bottom example shows it done that way.
You can also add a frame around it and have a lovely picture to display. (I also added Effect - Lighting - Lights to my final pic to give it a soft glow.)
HAVE FUN!!! - YOU'RE DONE!!! I hope you enjoyed this tut!
